Girl Scout Gold Award
The Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award in Girl Scouting. It is awarded to fewer than 6% of Girl Scouts annually. The requirement for this award is to transform an idea and vision for change into an actionable plan with measurable, sustainable and far-reaching results.

NHS Chairperson of Pope John XXIII's Lion's Den school store.
This is a volunteer position run by my school's National Honor Society. It involves coordinating store volunteers, moving inventory, assisting customers, directing volunteers, and learning marketing, sales and entrepreneurial skills.

NHS Chairperson of "Stuff the Stocking" for Project Self-Sufficiency.
This is a volunteer position run by my school's National Honor Society. It involves creating the school's marketing campaign for Project Self-Sufficiency's Season of Hope Holiday Toy Shop. My classmates and I  run our school's toy drive, produce promotional material, make announcements, oversee donations, shop for additional toy donations, and bring attention to the toy drive's cause.

Chatham University's Rachel Carson Healthy Planet Award.
As a result of the work involved with my Gold Award project, The Golden Garden, I was selected for this environmental award from Chatham University. The foundation of my project was based on a research paper I wrote on the harms of pesticides. I was given this award because I share in Rachel Carson's "commitment and passion to improving the environment and [my] community through sustainability".

"Rachel Carson is best remembered for her book, Silent Spring, published in 1962, which gave an accurate account of what might happen if pesticides and DDT went unchecked. This book was directly responsible for the banning of that pesticide and gave impetus to the founding of the environmental movement."

Pope John 2019 Spirit Award. Girl's Varsity Volleyball.
This award is given to one varsity athlete from each of the school's sports teams who "most exemplifies the spirit of a Pope John athlete". The recipients are selected by the coaches for positive attitude, kind actions, and dedication to the athlete's teammates, coaches, and fans.
