Tips for Going Organic
If you can grow your own garden, it's a great way to save money on organics. However, many people do not have the time, the physical ability, or the opportunity to grow their own food. So, I present different ideas and suggestions below. It all depends on your situation. I suggest researching some of the topics. Here are some ideas and places to buy organics:
Since organics usually cost more money, try to shift and subtract foods based on your situation.
Always read the labels and learn what to look for because some foods that are promoted as healthy are no always healthy. Look for the USDA Organic seal and the non-GMO Project monarch butterfly labels. Avoid oils like canola oil, corn oil and soy oil.

Kerry Gold butter and Dubliner cheese are available at a much lower price at Costco. The cows from this farm in Ireland are pasture raised. Grass fed cows produce products that are non-GMO and are filled with more nutrients.

- Deck and patio gardening is great for growing food in small spaces.
- Indoor potted plants can be grown, especially herbs.
- Sharing and crop trading with other people.
- Share the cost of bulk organics purchases from discount stores with other people.
- Learn how to can, store, and preserve food.
